Summer in Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland Australia, is hot, muggy, loud, and long. Summer wouldn’t be summer without the background singing of cicadas, kookaburras, small violent storms, and the hum of ceiling fans.

Summer, it’s as relentless as it feel endless – perfect for some. Not so much for those who lean towards toasting marshmallows over a log fire, and sip hot chocolate with a splash of somethingorother slightly stronger.

Ceiling fan

Thwack, thwack, thwack goes the endless sound of the ceiling fan working overtime

For now, this is my summer home, one I shall miss when I finally leave on a new  adventure.

Until then, I salute you with my mango frape, Cheers ♥♥
